Rylee Spencer has never believed in anything paranormal. Not the reported hauntings of the less-than-notorious pirate Cumberpatch Cove is named after, and certainly not her grandmother’s predictions regarding the reincarnation of a great-great uncle on her father’s side of the family.

Everything changes when she is zapped by a not-so-awesome birthday present and ends up haunted by a recently deceased tour guide.

After handling an antique saber breaks a centuries-old curse, Rylee finds herself haunted by the town’s not-so-famous pirate. Helping the ghost find his afterlife seems easy until his saber is found in a body near her uncle’s boat.

Cumberpatch Cove is gearing up for Halloween, and so is the Spencer family. When a tarot reading leads to a bubbling cauldron and a suspicious death, Rylee ends up with a new ghost and a murder to solve.
